Officially formed in 2001 by the early name Jakarta Flame with melodic punk concept. The band had several times changing personels, and in 2004 decided to change the name of the band became Jakarta Flames with the last line-up : Reza, Niki, Adith, Aji, and Ryan. In every performances, Jakarta Flames was playing their own songs mostly with the new concept: Post EMO-METAL. And in 2004, they’re joined in a compilation album “The Difference Compilation Vol.1” from Broken Jaws Record featuring their first single “ILUSI”. And at mid July 2005 had released a mini album titled “Jakarta Flames EP” from Lucky Records and also released a video clip “A Walk Into The Valley Of Death” taken from the mini album “Jakarta Flames EP”. But now, Jakarta Flames had evolved into a more mature band with a new but oldschool concept of the 80’s era of rock and metal. Leaving the ‘emo’ concept behind without a trace, they’re gathering and fusing more powerful sounds but still in a melodius kind of way.
